100th post

yay!!! finally i have the 100th post. will soon be having a 100th post and my 18th birthday giveaway.

our college had participated in a face painting competion last year. i was the model and one of my friend Shail was the painter. we won first prize for this. and the crown is for the head gear making competition. i stil have it   with me.

this is after participating in Project Broadway! was tired but still in the mood to have fun!

ummm...guess thats what i will let the title to be

its been a while since i last wrote. well i have been busy studying... uhh.. not exactly studying though.

so anyways, i saw a play after ages. i went to Prithvi with nittal and shruti. my college team was performing. got hthe ticket just for Rs 25/- the play was called Lukka Chuppi. it was about this guy whose mother died giving birth to him and his father had abandoned him. the child suffered from split personality and had committed 3 murders it was good.. actually very good.

we were called to college yeaterday. were told that we will be given the hall tickets but we had a very stupid lecture my the art of living volunteers. so this is what i wore to college:-

these are y favorite denims. wearing them from the past 2 years. thy are just so comfortabe . and the shoes. they are so different. got then from lahore.

today, india is a 60 yrs old republic nation. this sunday i was reading an article called 60 reasons why i love india in ht brunch. it was a pretty interesting one. so anyways we had the republic day celebrations in the building. had flag hoisting, sports etc etc... ummm.. well i dont know what else to write.. and i will put up the pictures as soon as varun sends it to me...

i some how liked this bag... a girl from my college(mithibai...!) was carrying this...

the funniest thing... the bag was in one hand and in the other hand was a thin plastic bag with a tetra pack of juice...!

i saw this right outside my college... onions fallen out of the rickshaw....

Sana

i am wearing shruti's chashma.... i was told that i look like a hindi professor...

project broadway...

Shruti, sana and i designed and made this costume for an event in malhar... it was a fashion styling and photography event... we were given around 2 meters of a black cloth, 2 meters of red satin ribbon and scraps of cloth.. we made the dress in 2 hours... make up was the result of boredom... we got first prize for this... sana was the photographer... i got this dress stiched properly.. and have kept it... it doesn't fit me any longer though...

Malhar is the festival of st.xvier's college, mumbai... we (shruti, sana and i) represented our college, mithibai, for this event.. the event was oragnised by workshop inc... the time limit was of 5 hours.. 3 hours for making the dress and 2 hours for photography... though they gave us just 2 hours for making of the dress and 30 minutes for clicking the picture...

i wore this for the traditional day at my college... i saw this style of draping in march 2008 edition of vouge... though it was with a waist coat... its easier to draped the saree around while wearing a waistcoat... the shrug made it complicated.. i am wearing a black tube top and a black skinny jeans underneath..

traditional day, 3 idiots and snowfall

Merry Christmas

yesterday.. we had traditional day in the college.. i wore blue and orange saree.. with a grey shrug... and i wore heels... for like 5 hours... painful... but was fun.. and i had this sense of satisfaction after wearing them for 5 hours.. i went like.. oh i can wear them... i can walk in them... and i can manage saree while wearing heels and going up and down the escalator.. instead of wearing a petticoat i was wearing my black skinny jeans... hot..

by the way... there is this Santa castle in mega mall... its beautifully made.. the funniest part is there is a snow fall machine in the castle... and fake snow smells horrible... anyways i won a neck piece in mega mall.. we were supposed to name 5 outlets in the food court.. that so easy for me... mega mall is like a fourth house to me.. (first is my own, second is jhimmli's and third is my college.) i could easily name the outlets.. i answered trim, qusba, mcdonalds, baskin robbins and hot rolls... and i won the neck piece.. its got the mege mall's logo for the pendant... its pretty cool if others dont know that is mega mall's logo...

i saw 3 idiots yesterday... what movie... its so much of fun... i laughed so much that my stomach hurt..

i miss my camera... i want to click so many pictures and upload them.. but i dont have a camera... -_-.

theres christmas party at jhimmli place.. i am wearing my white dress.. will be wearing it with pink stocking, pink heels and beige shrug....

and i think shivams gonna come over... i think i will take him for the party too...

and i had yummy food today... didi was the chef... yummy food...

Avatar, the days and shopping...

Avatar is such a boring film... the effects and all are superb.. but after some time it starts to get pretty boring... seems like they have just made up some story to show all the effects.. anyways.. there was this man in the theatre who was snoring and sleeping...

i have my exams from the 4th... i haven't even started studying... i have to start studying..

i am going for shopping today... finally after 3 months... can you belive that... 3 months no shopping... i just hope i find clothes of my size..

chacha, chachi and shivam are going to be coming today.. i guess they will be staying her till new year..

oh.. and yeah... finally we our having the days in college... but the days are so boring.. today its chocolate day, tomorrow is traditional day.. and on Monday it formal... cant the college think of something else.. i mean like Gothic theme, or like girls have to wear guys clothes and guys have to wear girls... now that day would have been a lot of fun..

i cant believe.. no on the second thought i can.. 12th is coming to an end... i will no longer be a student of junior college... i will soon be a student of degree college..

guess what...!!! i gtg and stu(die)....

gotta study psychology... autism, drug addiction etc etc...
