farewell party

my friends threw me a farewell party! we went to sernyaa and had yummy tibetan food! they gifted me hoodie too! isn't that cool! i had had an amazing day with them. Shruti, Nittal, Hileri and Rajesh.. you guys are the best!

tee shirt scarf

i was bored sitting on the chair in front of the computer facebook-ing. and then i thought lets search for some DIY ideas. so i came across a tutorial teaching how to recycle your old tee shirt and turn it into a scarf.so i took a really old tee shirt. its got oil stains and all to try. will make a better one soon.

i haven't figured out yet how to wear it. till then i will wear it on my head.it looks much better as a head-wear(is that a term??)

a random fact: i am in love with the orton-ish effect by picnik.com.. the reason for all the wierd looking pictures!

I already have two post about this dress. (seems as if i am obsessed with this piece of clothing). Purple Face

the thought of painting this on the t shirt came while i was having a conversation with my mother regarding the current obsession of skulls with most of the teen-age girls. its irritating.. Agreed i too am a teen aged girl who wears skull but i have been wearing it since the time i was in 5th grade i.e. since seven year.. and not since the time Avril Lavigne had become famous in mumbai.
as much as i remember skull is the upper cap like portion of the head and not the full face.. so i was just telling her that people should just draw the upper cap like portion and not the whole face.. so i made this.. first i had just done the things with the purple paint. after painting i realised that the distance between the face and the ears is too much.. yes those are ears and not headphones. so i drew the hair with a crayon to see how it looks.. and it looked pretty decent. then i covered the face with the sequins. and then painted the hair..

i made this!!! used 5 plastic spoons.. lots of fevicol and sequins . and i coverred the normal flat metal hairband with blue satin ribbon.. attached the spoons to the band with the satin ribbon.. 

Pin Brooch

My best friend's birthday is around the corner. And its her 18th birthday. so i thought this time i won't buy her anything instead make something for her. And the only thing i am good at is Knotting threads together. so i made her this brooch. i used a wool, a satin ribbon and 7 different threads. i have already packed it an kept. just waiting for her birthday to arrive.

DIY jeans

This is one of my favourite t-shirts. It says, "My secret to size zero" and has all the vegetables and fruits printed below it

but it got spoilt due to this

so i cut the patch of the t-shirt and stuck it on my back pocket!!

DIY neck lace

i made this yesterday. i used copper wires, a rubber band, satin ribbons and the two rod type things. i found those in the spoilt CD Drive. :p

DIY stockings

exams over!! finally!!! yay!! have got a list of stuff to post.. so the first post

i finally succeded in sticking stuff on my stocking.. thanks to Smrithi from The Vintage Obession, i have done it.. yipee!!

so here it is: 

i used Fevicril Fabric Glue, Bits and pieces from my old t-shirt, a white cloth rose i found lying somewhere in my house and scissors.

turkish pants dress

i had these turkish pants in the 10th grade. i used to wear it quite often, as in atleast once a week. they were my favourite. i wore them for a year. anyways after being worn so often the elastic started to loosen up, and after some time i could no longer wear it. it was kept back in my cupboard until few months ago. i transformed these pants into a dress.

even though i wore it so regular i have no pictures in it. so i substituted it with a sketch.

i cut that part of and there it was.. the beautiful blue dress

i am wearing the turkish pants dress, with the Gabbar Singh belt, blue stockings, yellow Westside dupatta, new jootis (the same one in the previous post) and i am carry a pink Golmaal bag.

dress turned into jacket

seems like i cant't get my hair dyed blue. my hair is too dark fgor it. but i cant get my hair done red or pink which i dont want. i think i will stick to good ol' black.

so anyways, i have this dress(though its no longer a dress). black and white, body hugging and with a hood(i love clothes with hood). i had bought this dress when i was in the tenth grade i.e. in the 2007 for the new year party with my friends. but unfortunately i did not go anywhere that year. i was at home watching movies. so what matters is that i did not wear this dress. after that a year passed by but i did not wear this dress at all.

but then on the 16th feb 2009. i wore this dress and went for post kshitij party. but then after that i again didnot wear this dress again. and i somehow never found that too comfortable in that dress.

so today, i turned it ino a cape jacket.. well sort of. there was this one stitch in the middle i just cut it off.. and there in was.. the cape jacket.

i was too bored to click a picture wearing the jacket.
